Metro Super Erecta shelves. Since 1965, the original post-based adjustable shelving system has been copied, but never duplicated. As a result, Metro Super Erecta shelves have proven they are a name you can count on. 

Innovative, adjustable design

The open-wire design minimizes dust accumulation and allows for better air circulation and greater visibility of stored items. Additionally, Super Erecta shelves adjust in 1″ increments. Finally, because a full choice of casters are available for mobile applications, you can easily convert a stationary unit into a mobile one. You can also mount the shelves to a wall.

Durability and strength

Metro constructs Super Erecta shelves of durable, sturdy Type 304 stainless steel. As a result, you have a choice for every weight capacity.

For example, stationary units 24″- (610 mm-), 36″- (914 mm-), 42″- (1,067 mm-), and 48″- (1,219 mm-) wide shelves have an 800 lb (363 kg) per-shelf capacity, while 54″- (1,372 mm-), 60″- (1,524 mm-), and 72″- (1,829 mm-) wide shelves have a 600 lb (272 kg) per-shelf capacity. All stationary shelving has a per-unit capacity of 2,000 lbs.

On the other hand, mobile units have the same per-shelf capacity, but a per-unit capacity of 600 to 900 lbs (272 – 408 kg), depending on the casters selected.

Choice of finish and customization

In particular, finishes include Brite (polished zinc), chrome, Metroseal (epoxy coating with Microban® to prevent mold and bacteria), Type 304 stainless steel, and epoxy-coated white or black. Finally, there are a variety of accessories to choose from in order to contain, identify, organize, and transport supplies.
